Performances, installations, vidéos, interventions dans l’espace public ou dans le paysage, dessins, sculptures, écriture, son : mon travail plastique se décline en objets hybrides, ayant un ancrage fort dans le présent et généralement indissociables d’un contexte particulier. Ils prennent des formes éphémères, vivantes, fugaces, à la limite du visible ou de l’immatériel parfois. En écho à un monde changeant, inconstant, mouvant.
Des formes qui relient à quelque chose de l’ordre de la magie du moment, qui invitent à s’émanciper d’un système productiviste et matérialiste.
Corps / espace / temps / matières dialoguent et sont indissociables.
Les matières sont actrices et sont choisies pour leur vie propre.
Elles nous relient à des paysages ou à des temps immémoriaux (argile, pierre, ...).
Elles sont des corps.
Elle imposent leur temporalité et leur récit, en agissant comme des objets sabliers. Ralentissant, accélérant, modifiant la perception du temps (glace qui fond, carton qui se désagrège sous la pluie, terre qui sèche et s’effrite, plâtre qui se fige...)
Dans mon processus, je porte une attention particulière aux détails, j’utilise ce qui est là, concrètement, j’observe et je transpose. Chaque travail prend comme point de départ une expérience physique et sensorielle.
J’expérimente à quel point je peux me distancier du sujet, sans pour autant en perdre l’essence. Comment s’opère le déplacement du récit intime au récit collectif.
Et jusqu’où les frontières s’estompent, entre le quotidien et la représentation, le commun et l’étrange, l’intime et le public, l’intérieur et l’extérieur, le visible et l’invisible.

Performances, installations, videos, interventions in collaboration with sites, drawings, sculptures, writing, sound: my visual work takes the form of hybrid objects, deeply linked to the body and generally inseparable from a particular context. They take on ephemeral, living, fleeting forms, sometimes bordering on the visible or the immaterial. They echo a changing, fickle, shifting world.
Body / space / time / materials interact and are inseparable.
Materials are actors and are chosen for their own life.
They connect us to landscapes or to immemorial times (clay, stone, ...).
They are bodies.
They impose their temporality and their narrative, acting like hourglasses. Slowing down, speeding up, altering the perception of time (ice melting, cardboard disintegrating in the rain, earth drying and crumbling, plaster setting…).
In my process, I pay particular attention to detail, I use what is there, concretely, I observe and I transpose. Each work takes a physical and sensory experience as its starting point.
I experiment with how far I can distance myself from the subject without losing its essence. How does the shift from intimate narrative to collective narrative take place?
And to what extent do the boundaries blur between the everyday and representation, the common and the strange, the intimate and the public, the interior and the exterior, the visible and the invisible?
